There are un Very enjoyable, a funny modern North-East take on contemporary life and pop culture. I don’t think this is terrible, it’s just a first novel, and most first novels are flawed. There are a huge amount of places you can turn to to get help.

Harrowingly this is exactly how some people live, especially in large built-up areas where there is such contrast in living conditions. Richard Milward has a rare gift as a writer one of making you laugh, cry and think on the same page. All in all, this is a book I picked richad the library because, in all honesty, I would have never bought it myself. Having a novel out though, everyone has been dead proud. My childhood was grand.
