Lets talk about Love,Rosie. Refresh and try again. But my God, does Cecelia Ahern know how to drag a story out. Bad things happen to people who do stupid things. Well, atleast my version had. Two of her books have been adapted as films and she has created several TV series.

Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern (1 star ratings)

This book will simultaneously make you laugh and cry. The book is written as a series of letters, emails, and messages, which initially I found quite peculiar, but soon began to adapt to and loved! It kept happening with different ahetn so logically-satisfying scenarios! I only gave it one star because that was required.

Tossed the book away, the minute i was like Meh! Love, Rosie Discussion – Spoilers 15 Feb 28, You need someone who can help you reach your dreams and protect you from your fears.

Love, Rosie: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern – review

Unfortunately, that did not happen and I had to finally give up on it, realising that I’d much rather be spending my time on something I actually enjoy. Their friendship is tested by time and circumstance, and situations become even more difficult when ahegn starts to tangle things up. I really enjoyed this book: The story is written in notes and email letters. The idea was awesome the plot and telling it as messages but when Ahern started to skip months and years, and more years just like that everything messed up.

The book is p That was terrible. Around the Year i After watching the movie based on the book I really thought that it would be a very pleasant book.

Pues yo creo que las personas que nos aman prefieren vernos felices, que vernos infelices. Heartbroken, they learn to live without each other. And no, its not romantic. Okayyy thats like 20 years past what should have happened after Rosie left whats-his-name.

The movie is so well done and the actors portraying Rosie and Alex Lily Collins and Sam Claflin are perfect and gave amazing performances. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. I can’t give this book more than one star and Ceeclia would most definitely recommend people to just watch the movie instead. You need someone who will treat you with respect, love every part of you, especially your flaws. I suppose you could say the fast pace mimics how, as you get older, the years seem to fly by much quicker.

I kept hoping to get more insight in how the events happened and was only sort of satisfied, knowing the details from the movie.

Exactly beacause whatever happens is explained this way, as a reader you only get glimpses of what really happened, since every character is extremely biased and whatever character development you could hope for is gone.

I always like the book more than the movie, but that was not the case here. I literally could not wait for this book to end. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. He had loved her all his life, so I think that he may had have difficulty distinguishing loving her and being in love with her. It feels like the author had a good plot that she started out with, then somewhere along the way she realised that she didn’t want it to ebglish so short so she painfully dragged and stretched the story until it was at its breaking point, until it hit the desired page mark.

Yet sometimes, all you need is a best friend to pick you up and offer endless encouragement and support ahernn the bond Rosie and Alex shared was special and if anyone finds a friend like that in their lives, then they are very lucky indeed. I am glad I’ve watched the movie first it’s not the reason to read the bookbecause if it wasn’t it I wouldn’t make it to the last page.

What’s with all the artificial lengthening and prolongation! This is one of the stories where I first saw the movie, then started reading the book. Open Preview See a Problem? View all 20 comments.
